This honestly blew me away. What are we teaching or not teaching our kids? Why do ten-year-old girls get manicures? Why do eight years of age girls get their hair spotted? I hardly believe that, as moms and dads, we look at the carefree life of our kids and feel sorry for them.

I doubt we believe, “Oh, I can’t wait until they get a job and then come home to clean their home every day.” It is instead the opposite. We yearned to want the days when our most considerable stress was whether little Bobby believed we were adorable.

I wish that parents would pay more attention to the impact we have on our children. Teach them to be kids, have fun, and deal with their own little world.

Please wait to press them down that road. And please do not let your seven-year-old child act snobby so she can be famous. Just teach her to be great and say hello to kids she does not understand.
