Communicating with our kids can be a difficult task sometimes. We seem like they’re not listening to us; they feel like we’re not listening to them. Great listening and interactions skills are important to successful parenting.

Your kid’s feelings, views and opinions have worth, and you should make sure you take the time to sit down and listen honestly and discuss them honestly.

Reacting means being receptive to our child’s sensations and feelings and permitting them to reveal themselves openly and truthfully without fear of effect from us. By reacting and asking questions about why the kid feels that method, it opens a dialog that permits them to discuss their sensations even more, and enables you a better understanding of where they’re coming from.
