C’mon, admit it. You in some cases use the television as a low-cost sitter. That’s ok … all of us do it often! Ah, but it’s a double-edged sword, because kids who enjoy a great deal of TELEVISION have problem keeping themselves amused, which in the long run makes your task harder!

If you’re trying to restrict the TELEVISION viewing in your family, you may require a little inspiration. Attempt these TV-free activities ensured to keep the kids busy … at least for a little while!

1) Make paper airplanes.
Warning: This one is highly addictive! My 2 kids definitely like making paper planes. Purchase them a book on the arts of paper aircraft making, and after that put your feet up and check out a book.

2) Make a tower with toothpicks and peas.
Go on- encourage them to have fun with their food!

3) Make homemade ice cream.
Put two parts milk and cream and one part sugar in a coffee can, with any flavorings you want. Put the cover on, then put it in a bigger can and put ice around the little can.

4) Provide a magnet and advise them to run it all over your home and see what they discover.

5) If you have bunk beds, put blankets around the lower one and make a submarine. Make it a yellow blanket. Then sing the suitable Beatles tune.

6) Play First Family Savings and Loan.
Save your cancelled checks and fake credit cards that can be found in the mail. Supply the kids with a calculator, pencils, little table and Monopoly money. This one was my preferred as a kid!

7) Build a mini log cabin with branches.

8) Have a tic-tac-toe tournament.

9) Make your own soda.

10) Make a card for Grandma.
Go out the rubber stamps, art products and construction paper and make a greeting card for Grandmother or another liked one.

11) Bake a cake.
Purchase the kids an easy cake or brownie mix and let them loose in the kitchen. Tell them they can take pleasure in the fruits of their labors as long as they tidy up all mess.

12) Comprise a witch hunt.
Purchase low-cost dollar shop toys. Conceal in your closet. Make a list of products they should find outdoors. (A white rock, a feather, a red leaf, a penny, etc) Tell them an amazing booty awaits when they bring all the items to you.

13) Make a cave inside your home.
Put old blankets over the backs of chairs or over a table to make a camping tent. Get a flashlight and instruct child to go read frightening stories inside it.
